As the Division Head of Education at Nebraska Indian Community College, I am deeply honored to serve a mission I care so much about. I truly love my job and this college—it’s a place where meaningful change begins. We are proud to have articulation agreements with Haskell Indian Nations University for a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and with Bay Mills Community College for a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. These partnerships help us create clear pathways for our students to become certified teachers. My dream is to see more qualified Native educators leading in our community schools, and every day, we take steps toward making that dream a reality.
