Crystal Ross

Greetings, my name is Crystal M. Ross. I serve as the Student Services Contact for the Macy Campus and Retention Advisor here at the Nebraska Indian Community College.  I am an enrolled member of the Omaha Tribe, also a descendent of the Rosebud Sioux and Otoe Missouria Tribes. I am the mother of 3 wonderful children that keep me very busy.  In 1997, I graduated from Walthill High School (Home of the Blujays).  In 2003, I received my first Associates degree from NICC in Early Childhood Education and in 2016, I received my second degree in Human Services. In each career I’ve explored, I have always worked with youth. As a former Head Start teacher, I now work with young adults that were previous students. Working at the Boys and Girls Home, a Behavioral Treatment facility; I learned patience, understanding, and compassion. The pursuit of Education and Helping Others are lessons I value and continue to strive for. I feel blessed to be a NICC Alumni & Staff. I look forward to working with all the NICC staff and students.
