Introduction:

Welcome to the Self-Study 2008 website!  This website will serve as a resource and a means of communication for the College's self-study, as the College seeks reaccreditation from its regional accreditor, the Higher Learning Commission of North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC).  This self-study process will result in an Spring 2008 comprehensive visit by a team of consultant-evaluators.  The Self-Study Steering Committee welcomes participation from the NICC Community in this very important College-wide initiative.

To demonstrate that Nebraska Indian Community College is academically strong and anticipates the challenges of the future
To assure that the re-accrediation process is of long-term beneifit to the College.
To clarify and fulfill our vision of Nebraska Indian Community College.
