A comprehensive study of society concentrating on interaction within various groups. Practical knowledge will be gained through lecture/discussion and hands-on projects.
This course studies the nature of human culture as an adaptive mechanism. The traditional aspects of culture, kinship, social organization technology and their application to modern culture will be emphasized. (Elective)
This course introduces the student to basic statistical concepts, descriptive statistics, probability, and the basic concepts of research design as they are applied in the social and behavioral sciences. Prerequisite MTH 110 or above.
